Schnitz - Logan City

Went for dinner close to closing time, wandered off and came back to grab my order which they were still cooking. As I looked into the cooking area the cook picked something out of the pan he was preparing my food in (with his ungloved hands) and ate it, he turned his back briefly but was still chewing on it as he prepared my burger. The schnitzel was overcooked, almost burnt. I was too grossed out to eat it. Had issues with the order last time I was there. Never again.

We first had Shnitz down in Melbourne so we were very excited to see it land in Queensland. We both ordered the Royal Chip Butty's and were surprised by the large portion sizing. The chicken was tender, with a good crumb, and the smokey BBQ sauce complements the chicken. The chips are the best from any fast food chain Overall, the staff are friendly, custom orders are always fulfilled and the price is reasonable.

Come here for the chips!!!!! I cannot stress enough, these chips are delicious! They are crunchy, well seasoned not just with salt but some kind of secret concoction of some magical herbs and spices. Conversely, the schnitzels are good, but nothing amazing.

First time visit. The schnitzel was delicious, perfect crumb and nice and moist. The chips were divine. Only downside they don't do gravy. I'll definitely go back.

I had lunch at Schnitz yesterday and ordered a chicken Swiss Schnitz on Turkish bread and chips to share. The burger was quite dense, such that it felt a little heavy! And it was delicious. The schnitzel was moist and crispy and the toppings were fresh. Also the chips seasoning was amazing! Service was friendly and efficient. I loved that you could get meat or veg for every menu option so it would suit anyone. All ingredients are Australian too. My only criticism is that the thickness of the schnitzel could overpower the flavour a bit so that as I continued eating I felt like I wasn't getting a big variety of flavours. But the meal was filling and I think reasonably priced. Obviously it's in the middle of a food court too so it's noisy, but they make up for it with a stylish shopfront and seating area separate to the food court.
