Coffee Hound Uptown Normal

Waaaaaay changed. Used to be a pleasant place with good coffee. Now the coffee is consistently stale and sour, and the pastries are hard as rocks and taste like cardboard. The display case and the counters and tables are all filthy and scattered here and there, and the food looks days old. There are no labels in the display case. The bathrooms are filthy. Avacado toast was barely toasted, barely any avacado, and peppers were not cut well. Asked for water and had to go back up to counter to get it since it wasnt brought out to me.

Amazing. Great coffee and both sweet and unsweet pastry. I had one with caramelized onions and feta. Highly recommended!

Great coffee place. The House Cortado is a must try here.

Got a large black coffee and it came out to almost $10. I think the barista was fed up and just didn’t care what she charged me. No big deal when Starbucks and Coffee House are right next to it.
