Des Plaines Family Pancake House

The food was good, but nothing special. There was chilled butter on the table for our waffle. It was so cold inside the restaurant that the waffle was cold when it hit the table, so the butter never softened at all. The omelet was hot and tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive too.

We really like this place, particularly in the fall. My wife is a die hard pumpkin pancake fan and these are some of the best. I had an omelet that was beyond good…Light and fluffy…just delicious. The hash browns are pretty normal. The staff is great…pleasant, helpful and responsive. Try it.

They serve pretty quick and the food is really good.

First time eating here. Dining room was full. Servers were busy and quick. Food was good and large portions.

Early mornings could net be better and with a hot skillet and pancakes. Always love coming here with friends and family. Super traditional, always friendly wait staff.
