Frannies Beef Catering - Logan County

Over five decades ago my aunt owned an Italian restaurant called “Villa Roma” in the city. I have NEVER had a beef sandwich as good as hers and she passed away with that closely guarded recipe. My brother took me to Franny's and I have to say, this beef/combo took me back in time!! Absolutely delicious!! She passed at the age of 93 and I wish she was alive to take her there (although I'm sure she may have “tweaked” something in the recipe LOL).. looking forward to going back soon with my daughte … – show

I may not be the absolute authority on Chicago cuisine, but I can confidently proclaim that this place is one of the best Chicago has to offer. My friend and I both got some italian beef, fries, and lemonade, which were all killer. The beef was incredibly flavorful and juicy, the fries were perfectly crisp, and the lemonade was very refreshing. Try it! And make sure you get your beef wet.

Delicious food. It was fresh and flavorful. Love the atmosphere. I wanted to go again and try something else but I forgot they close at 8pm.

My first time there. Gotta say it's a nice small clean place with good customer service. Greeted and treated well. Food was made with love.

One word describes the beef/sausage ocombo; PERFECT…!!!
