La Piazza Cucina Italiana

Hands down the best Italian food I'm Springfield, IL. My husband and I each got an appetizer (the fried calamari and the January special, portobello mushroom), the trapanese pasta, and the canneloni al forno. Magnificent.

Ravioli and calamari are my favorite! The cashier is super sweet and the food is always good. I’ve been a total of eight times now and have never been disappointed.

We walked here for lunch after visiting the Lincoln Museum. Great choice! They had great lunch specials, and the owner was so kind and friendly. My sister and I both got salads and bread, and my niece got pizza — all very good! We especially liked the pizza. They offered my niece ice cream for dessert, which was also really good.

Great environment and food. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I just wish they were open for dinner time more during the week
