Starved Rock Lodge - Logan County

Yesterday was mine and my husband's 10 year anniversary and He lost his phone on our hike to lovers leap. thank God for the person who saw his phone and turned it in to the lodge right next to the restaurant. Anyway, the food here is great!! great service, great service, EVERYTHING was perfect!

Went to see 40's radio dinner show. The performers were great singing old Andrew sister songs and the food was delicious

Had the lunch special today (meat loaf sandwich) and it was awesome! Worth the trip to have it again!

This location is so picturesque, every time I pull up to the front of the lodge their are wedding parties bride and grooms walking in. I can only imagine how beautiful their pictures must be!!!

It's a great place to get away in the fall. less than 2 hours from downtown. The trails tum the gamut from easy to difficult. The pool and whirlpool were a great way to end the day. I would skip the food in the “bar”
