Egg Harbor Cafe - Lombard

Breakfast is ok!! I requested extra green sauce on my chicken chilaquiles or on the side and didn't get it. They were just too dry and below what I'm accustomed to get from Egg Harbor Cafe.

Long lines at 1. Refused to seat me at 2. Good luck with that.

Completely terrible. I used to like egg harbor, but I will never return. I came in with two others. We ordered pancakes, pumpkin pancakes, and chilequiles. The pancakes came out first and they were complete mush so we asked for eggs instead. After forty minutes we didn't receive any more food, not even the chilequiles we ordered in the first place. There's no excuse for that. Unacceptable service and unacceptable food.

Best gluten-free menu I have seen at a breakfast food place in 11 years on the diet. They have a full separate menu with GF alternatives for almost every menu item. The GF pancakes were just ok, kind of gummy, but the GF Geneva Rosti and Cinnamon Roll were delicious.

Create your own skillet combo is amazing I've been getting it for ten years! Be sure to load the potatoes/hash browns with their house seasoning
