Bao Fa Garden (fka Zen China) - London

On our first night in London, we had a late dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious! The location is beautiful, and the overall experience was fantastic!

This was our first visit, and we absolutely loved it. I’m a huge fan of Chinese cuisine and have dined at restaurants worldwide, including in Hong Kong. The Peking duck was fantastic, and the soup made from the leftovers was simply delicious. The presentation at the table by the chef was also a lovely touch. We enjoyed the place so much that we're returning on Friday with some friends. The full menu is much more diverse than what’s shown on the website and features some incredible dishes.

The setting is lovely, with beautiful staff and a breathtaking view of the Houses of Parliament and the large River Thames. However, the food is quite average, which makes the prices feel high for what you get. The sizzling beef was delicious, but the crispy duck was disappointingly dry.

Eating was in order, the problem was the price. It doesn't matter to pay much for good eating, but it wasn't really what I expected. nothing was bad, but not great. the lobster was overcooked, the fish had a lot of swirl and so on. again it was good to eat, but not at the price.

Terrible..we booked via Open table as it was in the city and my family wanted to spend new years in London. Was called up by a rude resturant manager who demanded we pay 900 for the booking. This was not mentioned on open table at time of booking. We ended up cancelling the booking and will never book here again. It spoilt our New Year plans in London and everybody including my two children were extremely disappointed.
