A small problem with booking, but the venue solved this seamlessly by moving us to a later time (but only slightly) that was very appreciated. the eating was great, the atmosphere was good. had a cocktail I had before (mary pickford) was my favorite, but this time came as a little less version of itself, it was still good and the cocktails are reasonably expensive. also eat cheap with the £31 set menu, a few options to update where people want. happy with the experience!

Nice food pre-theater. although not excessively busy when we arrived, the service seemed somewhat irritating. we ordered olive starter that did not arrive until our starter was brought out and a glass of champagne that arrived like the olives after the wine we had ordered for the meal. that was nice to eat. starter and start both delicious.

New offer in barbicon. the menu was limited, but the food was good and the service was fast and personal. our only main complaint was the terrible lighting (in a historical building, apparently it is treated in time).

Had a pre-show dinner. very nice, comfortable, good food and service. would recommend.

Friendly and inviting ambience, good food and drink. Very convenient for pre concert meal. We enjoyed it very much and will book again when next at the Barbican.
