I went for a business lunch, and although I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, I would be hard pressed to say it was an excellent one the portion sizes were a little hit and miss (very large side orders, but the starters felt a little small), and the service was not top notch. Being an Italian restaurant, I would have expected the waitress to know what a Negroni was, but that aside, things like the water not being left on the table and them forgetting to bring sides with the main course and needing to be reminded let the service down. It was not overly busy on the day we went, so there is room for improvement. There was nothing wrong with the food when it did arrive. Still, we didn't order anything out of the ordinary and having been to a few Italian restaurants recently, Bella Cosa, unfortunately, didn't figure high up on the places visited, which is a shame. Maybe it was an off day but overall as I say, although not a bad experience I couldn't say it was a great one.

The food, service, ambience, and views overlooking the docks were all amazing at this restaurant. Overall, it was a sensational dining experience!
