We had the paneer jalfrezi good combination with this Indian cheese. Don't know what it usually goes with but Bengal Lancer cooked it with peppers and onions. Pilau rice was good neither to dry nor moist to the point of mushy very nice and light. Peshwari naan was lovely and sweet with a decent amount of almonds and sultanas in it. Service was very quick. Quite quiet in the early evening as with most restaurants about 6pm.
The food was extremely tasty the service was amazing there was a real personal touch the staff went over beyond to please customers would definitely go back
We were the only people in at 10pm on a saturday, which initially worried me slightly. However once the food arrived I forgot all about that! The curries had lots of good, rich flavour and didn't have the slick if oil you often find. Nice crisp, fresh nan. There are quite a few paneer options in the menu, which always pleases me. For main course I had the aubergine and chick pea pie (had been recommended to me by a friend), I thought the idea of a pie seemed an odd idea. It was fantastic! Topped with a paratha, can't wait to have it again! As we were eating the place started steadily filling up, seemingly popular for a later curry.
