This is not just my point of view but I asked amongst my ten colleagues to make sure I was not being harsh. No one liked the foods and everyone had ordered something different. No let’s be honest, I think we all liked the coleslaw. Location wise this restaurant is close to Covent Garden underground station about 10 minutes walk. The vibe of this place is loud, you might like that. The inside has two levels, the main bar is on the ground level and we were placed downstairs in a corner with a speaker right above our heads so we literally could not have a conversation. Visually the place looks great and at first sight feels like a good place to have a night out. I ordered half of lobster
Visited on recommendation from a friend and it’s become one of our favourite places to eat when we go to London. I recommend the lobster roll which is
Great service from our waiter, cant remember his name but he studies a masters whilst working part time. Tried other BBQ places before and this one was best for value for money because the meal platters included sides like coleslaw and beans. Really good they had hand washing sink separate to the toilet. The special cocktails was supposedly meant to be in bigger glasses but it came in same size glasses, not worth it for price. Things to improve: have variety of sauce bottles on each table with napkins, lower music level so people can hear each other, spacing out the 2 person tables because it was feeling very tight and claustrophobic downstairs. Other than that we'll be back to try the desserts. Final verdict: Staff service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Hygiene: 5/5 Ambience: 3/5 Price:
Came here with @Londonsbestfood, and was happily impressed with everything about it. Our waiter Enton gave us outstanding service throughout our experience. He explained the menu thoroughly and gave us a lot of perfect suggestions from their expansive menu. We started off with the Grand Appetiser which was amazing and had lots of delicious selections (I loved the voodoo sauce it came with it). Then our mains, mine was huge! I went for the ribs and half lobster. It was so good but honestly, a very big of a portion (which I couldn’t complain about). My girlfriend went for the original lobster roll which she also loved. To end it all off, we had an espresso and an espresso martini. The venue itself was American themed, super fun and entertaining. They also had a live pianist downstairs. Would definitely come back again, would highly recommend!
We use to come here years ago and loved the place. I’m not sure what has happened but I was not overly impressed with this place. The dish I ordered was not tasteful and felt like a complete chore to eat. Before when ordering shelled fish the chef would cut a little in the crab shell to make a little easier to access the meat. The sauce was too much and very bland, nothing garlic about it. We were seated in a corner and directly behind us was a table for two. I was praying that no one would sit behind us as it would make it hard for anyone to move. Unfortunately, some was seated behind us and it was a tight squeeze for everyone. I had to go to the bathroom the poor gentleman who was sitting behind me had to retract his elbows, whist eating, to allow me to pass by him. The same for his companion, who had to disturb me to get by. In all not a comfortable meal or an enjoyable one at all.
