It seems now that they are under new management and the service and quality of food has dropped to a minimum standard. we brought our family for a roast who expected our most beautiful experience, but was greeted with bad service, the wrong eating was brought out, instructions ignored and a wodka and koks served in a pint koks?! the food was disgusting... what a school-meal, the meat thin and the heavy watery. the meal then ended with the completely wrong entry, which was brought to the table with 5 additional objects. it was a good run black lion, but we will not return! time to find a new roast!
Large small pub next to the park with good food and beautiful atmosphere. the personal is friendly and the decor is great
I love the black lion as a spot for events and special occasions. the environment is beautiful as it is a listed building and the dining room is very cozy with a lot of candle light. eating is excellent and service is amazing, nothing is too much annoying for the coworkers who are very helpful and polite.
I didn't even realize this, I didn't get any menus for the old, 5 times each time it was told to him that my pregnant girlfriend didn't drink well over half an hour, the service was a scandal that was eating moderately, waited for her over an hour. the waiter said that no one who looked after you did not accidentally go away, and so that we stand up and go, even if they pay the bill they did not come and pick up until we left, ruined the day of my mother.
Mother's Day lunch was a Sunday Roast at the Kilburn Black Lion next to the fireplace, it was lovely. We've been coming for many years and it's just the best.
