Cabana Brasilian Barbecue - Islington

The server left after taking our order and we had to chase them up after 45 minutes to get any sort of response. The buckets of ice cold beers were warm. The food was mediocre, but after waiting for an hour, we were so hungry we would have settled for shoe leather. It was extremely difficult to get any attention, despite the fact that the restaurant was quiet with only one other large group of 8 and two tables of 2. It was a disappointing experience.

It was my bday treat, however the staff seemed unaware of the offer, so there was a bit of confusion with the order. The (lovely on point new manager rectified it all and made it a better FILLING experience(thank you Juan . If the waiting staff knew of the offers prior to the customer, than the overall my rating would have had a few more 5s. I will be back :

Service was excellent, staff were very friendly and efficient! The food was lovely and there was a lot to choose from! Very enjoyable!

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. They got my order wrong and then denied making a mistake. They also claimed the kitchen was closed and that they had run out of all starters for my friend's birthday meal. I was not impressed. The food was only average at best. Additionally, the waiter was quite rude.

We were here for a friends birthday party with a group of about 20 people. The first impression of this restaurant was very good, it looked great, nicely decorated and the menu was very appealing. We ordered drinks and that was good, they tasted wonderful and were served in good proportions. Nevertheless the food was kind of disappointing. It took long before the waiters took our orders and before it was served, they forgot some of the food and the portions of for example the curry and the skewers were less than expected, and some food was cold when it arrived at the table. Also the meat of the skewer was poorly presented. Some small pieces of meat on a big empty board. I would suggests that the fries that are served with the skewers is already presented on the plate and it should also be served with a (coconut)coleslaw. However everyone with the burritos and pita's seemed to be happy with there choice, and all the food tasted good! I also liked that they served iced tap water with the food, all restaurants should learn from this.
