Casa Morita has finally hit the sweet spots. I've been here for lunch when the market is buzzing and had a torta that was spot on what I remember from home. The bread is the key factor in a torta and this was perfect. I also just came with some of my other American friends and we loved the fresh homemade tortilla chips that I've literally never been able to get anywhere else. The authentic Mexican chorizo was also a hit with everyone and the quest fresco too. I hope they can get some Negra Modelo in and then it would be perfection! Also, the service is the type that you have to flag them down for something, doesn't bother me as it creates a really chill environment, but if this bothers you, then maybe don't come.
£25 for 2 for a good selection of different dishes that is definitely enough to leave you pretty full. Opted to have the chocolate chili cake after however but probably shouldn't have bothered as wasn't the best but all the savoury stuff was good and you can also buy tortillas (including cactus ones! and sauces
This restaurant in Brixton village is a real gem, offering an excellent combination of burrito and salad bowl with fresh flavors and delicious guacamole. The Coronas are a good value addition to the meal. The menu offers great value and I would definitely recommend it for a casual dinner with friends.
The place is rough and ready to be in the middle of brixton, they can think in that they are in the outland. the pork and vegetarian tacos had great simple aromen with beautiful soft tortillas. the portions are very small, so it is worth ordering a mix. the guacamole was fresh with a beautiful amount of limette juice and a good kick made by chili. the place is family run, with a great atmosphere and great service.
As I have already said, the most passing place for new restaurants in and so with a free Friday evening before us the fashionista and I decided to round some of the new offers to see if they fit together with some of the more established places. only after seven at brixton in brixton market row (over the street of brixton village right.) we came to this place around 7 and it had already jumped.
