Cassava chips were very tasty but the thimble sized pot of sauce ridiculously too small. Short rib beef was tasty and a massive portion in contrast to the baby chicken which considering a similar price was tiny. Overall disappointing and won't be returning
The personal in the restaurant was really friendly and did not sleep at all. eating was very good overall, the only note we had was that the Sirloin steak was cooked a bit more at the well, instead of the medium, but the sushi, slowly cooked bark, iceberg salad and duck breakfast were all amazing. the bark plate was such a big part that we couldn't even finish it and instead the personal it kindly packed to take home. also, I had mentioned during the reservation that we were coming to celebrate my birthday, and the personal surprised me with a complementary dessert with candles and a birthday news that a smile on my face for the rest of the night. would definitely come back. many thanks to chino latino
Chino Latino was my favorite restaurant a few years ago when I was living in London. Exceptional food, service very pleasant. Three years later, I went back during a stay in the city and it was a big disappointment. Poor service (slow, service not very friendly, and they even brought dessert while a guest was still eating the main course). The food was good but unfortunately not as succulent as in my memory. The restaurant has always been rather expensive and back then the price was in my opinion totally justified by the amazing quality of the food. But now, as I've seen in some other reviews, the overall degradation makes me consider the restaurant to be overpriced...
The service was terrible and the OpenTable booking options misled us. We had booked for the sushi brunch but they had charged us for something else.
We had a great time at Chino Latino which is located in the Park Plaza Riverbank hotel. The menu is well supplied and diverse with Asian inspirations and the prices charged are reasonable for such an establishment. Note very correct children's menus for barely 15 €. Some tables have views of the Thames, which is appreciable. Bands also perform on Friday Saturday nights. The staff is very helpful and pleasant and efficient to meet the slightest request. Recommend at least once if you stay in this hotel which is a little far from the main attractions but is worth a visit anyway!
