I had steaks and burgers here. steaks always cooked exactly as I asked. rare hanger steak, medium-range crucible. reasonable price for the location and quality of the meat. burger was really delicious. chicken wings are crushed and fried, then covered with sauce. maybe a bit too much sauce, but the personal is prepared with extra hand towels for even most creepy eaters.
I wanted to eat with a friend. we had the express set menu, which was really good value for money, although the nets do not come with sides, so fries etc are extra. would like to go back.
Unleashed near piccadilly zirkus, served drinks steaks and burger, big little place to pick up with a friend or go on a date, so not loud or with music bubbles loud. decor was beautiful and subtle, I had a lamb-coop and my friend a pig-coop we both enjoyed througly and was a good portion size, but the sides did not come with the teller, so we ordered anyway a part of chips, mushrooms and butternut cash, followed by some tee, all came to £30 everyone not bad. the streets liked well, but we might be full next time.
If you are looking for excellent steak in london chopshop is a fantastic place only on haymarket. beautiful service and super steak cooked to perfection and open late, which helps when they just leave the theatre.
Good pre-theatre menu £22 for three courses we had the 6 wings with blue cheese dip, 6-oz rump steak and a brownie sundae. We also ordered a side of butternut squash with goats cheese. The starter was lovely but the steak was a little fatty and there wasnt much cheese on the squash. Beers are £5. The dessert was lovely. One thing that stopped this review being 5* was the 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill which is a bit cheeky.
