I was impressed with the small Asian grocery area located inside the restaurant, making it convenient to purchase hard-to-find ingredients. The space was beautifully designed, bright, and open. The food was delicious, with generous portions and freshly prepared dishes. We enjoyed the sea bass, beef cheek curry, and fried chicken as starters. We also ordered kale chips, expecting them to be warm and roasted, but they were served as dried chips with a chili sauce.
I came in for a Friday lunch and was welcomed by a cosy and inviting interior. The manager Damiano was nice and attentive and recommended us the feasting menu. It wasn’t really busy so chef Charles took the time to come out and expertly explain the dishes. We were thoroughly impressed by the amount of effort that goes into every dish and the fresh ingredients they fly in from Thailand every week. This food is the real deal, and the people speaking in superlatives are not exaggerating. The dishes are beautifully prepared and presented with so much attention to detail. Bold and exciting flavours that had my taste buds exploding (and on fire at times). The standouts were the crispy seabass, the miang bites and their prawn curry. They actually make the paste in-house and sell them in their little larder shop. Thank you to the Farang team for the great meal. I can’t wait to visit again!
I had a fantastic experience at Farang. We were greeted and served by Fabiano, who was very friendly and recommended some delicious dishes that suited my preferences. The kitchen staff accommodated my allergy requirements and the food was flavorful and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for its relaxed atmosphere. An added bonus was that I was allowed to bring my dog along.
I went to Farang for lunch in December. The dishes were definitely interesting and tasty. Two starters and one main were enough for two people to share. We were lucky to come in before it got busy, so the chef came out to explain the dishes. We ended up buying a couple of sauces from their shop after lunch. The only thing we didn't like was that it was a bit too cold near the window because the radiator was off.
Incredible food if you like spicy&citric flavours. My favourite restaurant in London so far. Totally recommend. You'll need to book beforehand. The only cons: I found the place a bit noisy so I needed to speak loud to my partner. Matter of taste, I guess.
