Hans' Grill - London

The service was terrible during Sunday brunch, which is a busy time. The food was mediocre, and with so much competition nearby, I have no desire to return.

I've visited this restaurant several times before and decided to choose it again because we had an overseas guest who arrived first. Unfortunately, she was greeted by a rather unfriendly lady who informed her that the table wasn't ready, even though she arrived on time. I arrived shortly after and encountered the same staff member, who brusquely instructed me to wait at the bar since the table was still unavailable. This was quite different from my previous experiences here, as the rest of the staff has always been wonderful. It was disappointing to face such a gruff welcome, which was not at all in line with my past visits.

The generous portion sizes and attentive service made for a wonderful dining experience. Although the atmosphere was quiet, which may not appeal to everyone, we noticed larger groups having a great time. It created the perfect setting for our long and meaningful conversations. We will definitely return!

Great place for a relaxed lunch. Delicious food and good sized portions. Would definitely recommend!
