Hereford Road - London

The service was awful we could not as much as much get a refill of water in the 2.5 hours spent there, having had to flail around for any attention. (Also our waiter was exceptionally dour. Perhaps he was having a bad day but for a Friday evening things felt a little too funerary) The starters and mains were obviously well sourced but too underwhelming and insipid to make it through the whole meal. Half of our food went uneaten and it was interesting no one bothered to ask why. We couldnt risk dessert, so went up the road to a gelataria for some insanely good ice cream.

Last Friday friend and I went to Hereford Road, to experience their fixed price lunch, a treat. we know the restaurant. the lunch was delicious, the restaurant, was full and buzzing, and on top of which it was good value...I know it by evening, I do not, have not experienced it by day, but, if this is the standard, of their friday fixed lunch, will definitely book again, five star lunch five star value.

Never had such a rude and uninspired service crew. The outsides tables were sticky from the trees. Waiter: there is nothing we can do! Not even a place mat? Disgusting. Plate and silverware thrown on the sticky table. Food is average. At 7:30 two of the main dishes were out. Again, no excuse, choose something else! By the way total bill for the two of us was 198 Waiter thinks he is special, because he works in a Notting Hill Restaurant

Excellent meat but final spoiled by the dessert that tastes like nothing. 6 pound plus 12,5 of the total for the service for absolutely nothing, I left it entirely. Also the service cold and hasty. Rude waiters, when I pointed out about the dessert they dismissed me rudely without even apologizing. NOT RECOMMEND.

A lovely little spot. The dishes were simple but very tasty. The staff were welcoming and professional (almost too professional! . It had a cozy, local neighborhood feel which is exactly what we were looking for. A hidden gem!
