Drinks were nice to but service was very poor (except from the nice young gentleman who told me it was his first day he was lovely) but i found the vibe to be really uncomfortable we were placed on an awkward little table in the middle of the room smallest table ever we could barely fit our food and drinks on it, it was ridiculous we literally had to “store” menus, drinks underneath the table because the table being so fragile and small we could barely keep anything on it was not pleasant at all. When we received our main course I could not put up with it and asked to move to a bigger table bare in mind this was the second time asking. Once we moved the experience was way more pleasant apart from them getting are drinks wrong and when we asked to take the food to go they mixed two different orders of rice together couldn’t believe it !
We had a wonderful early dinner at Hutong on a Saturday afternoon. The views from every table are amazing. The atmosphere, service, and food were outstanding, and although it may be pricey, Hutong truly delivers. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly prepared with care and precision. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself is stunning with unbeatable views. I highly recommend paying a visit.
Un’esperienza sempre piacevole. Il viaggio a Londra non può prescindere da una cena qui.
My friend and I, both female, were required to order both an appetizer and a main course each. The portions were much larger than we usually eat, so a significant amount of food went to waste. In contrast, a nearby couple only ordered cocktails. The service was also below average. Despite being a regular customer, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
The overall experience was okay. The service is not up to par considering the price, quite mediocre. The views are incredible and the food is good. There is a minimum spend per table, so make sure to inquire about this. We were informed that you need to order at least one starter and one main course per person to meet the minimum spend. Be sure to double-check your bill, as there were items on ours that we did not order. Overall, it was just okay, not outstanding. You could find better service and food elsewhere, even at The Shard, for the amount you are paying.
