I found both to be delicious; the broth of the veggie gyoza udon had aThai flavor, which added a nice touch of spiciness. My daughter mentioned that the chicken udon was a bit chewy, but she felt it was quite satisfactory overall. The portion of udon was slightly smaller than expected, but the sushi at Itsu is always delightful. The waitress who served us was very friendly, courteous, and helpful, which definitely added to our positive experience.
However, I also tried the veggie meatless meatballs dish, and I found the meatballs to be slightly undercooked and lacking freshness. The dish included soybeans, coriander, and tomatoes over sweet brown rice with teriyaki sauce, but the soybeans were raw and overly crispy, which affected the overall taste. The consistency of the ingredients was soft, but unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be as enjoyable as I had hoped.
