Kanishka By Atul Kochhar - London

Recently had a beautiful meal in kanishka, the whole experience was delightful. my partner and I chose the tasting menu and younger has delivered it. nothing on the menu was excessively hot, but it was nicely spiced and only the right amount of warm, where necessary. every cure seemed nice to flow and we were not left to have eaten. simply one of the best Indian meals I had. do not hesitate to return.

Located in the bustling locality of Mayfair, Kanishka is worth a visit! A modern take on the north eastern Indian cuisine leaves you wanting more! There are very good options for vegetarians as well. The Michelin star cook has definitely done justice! This is definitely not a corner curry shop. Though a little expensive than normal, we went there for a special occasion hence worth the price!

We had one of the best Indian fine dining in London. The ambience was awesome, we were greeted by smiling faces and the service was brilliant. We tried the set menu for our lunch and ordered some nibbles and sides as well. The non alcoholic king's enigma and passion fruit martini cocktails were really good with enough punch. For first course, we chose the baked mackerel and veg tikki and some fried chicken momo. They just fire up your taste buds. At this point, the expectations went higher for the second course, where we ordered the Chicken Kosha and the Halibut in masor tenga curry with red rice,bread basket and the signature kali daal. We were not disappointed as we felt like we are in eastern part of India and having the best quality dishes. For the third course, we tried the masala Chai creme Brulee while we were surprised by the complimentary Happy Birthday cake. Overall, really amazing place, centrally located in Mayfair just next to Oxford Circus. Would highly recommend and definitely coming back for more.

Lovely lunch. Set 3 course meal 2 sides and we left stuffed. Should have ordered bread or rice in hindsight as one of the sides. Really enjoyed it here food service was excellent.

The venue and staff are truly exceptional. The food is beyond comparison.
