When I need to satisfy my craving for tapioca pearls and milk tea, I go to Chatime.
The restaurant is currently closed for renovations and construction.
My wife and I went to this restaurant on Valentine's Day and we were extremely disappointed with the food and service. I usually don't complain about restaurants, as I have always had good experiences at Italian restaurants in London, but this time I felt the need to warn others to stay away from this place. As an Italian, I can cook better meals at home without spending a fortune. We paid £73 for a meal with two main dishes that were barely edible and lacked seasoning, as well as two appetizers. On top of that, we were charged £5.20 for two small plastic bottles of water and extra for bread that was not seasoned with garlic or rosemary. This is not an authentic Italian restaurant, but a disappointment. I suggest avoiding this place at all costs.
We were welcomed by a charming Italian gentleman who made our group feel right at home. After seating us, he brought us complimentary bread and informed us about the specials. We ordered several bottles of wine for the table, which were also excellent. The experience reminded me of being in Italy because it felt so authentic. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning.
