Madhu's Brasserie Harvey Nichols

I was disappointed with my experience at Madhu’s. There were missing items, like salt, and they didn’t offer any replacements or take the cost off the bill. I expected much more from such a reputable restaurant. The staff seemed rushed, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The food and drinks were of reasonable quality, but overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

The staff is always very friendly and attentive, and the food is exceptional. It’s never as busy as I expect it to be.

Food was fantastic, and at the end of the day, that is the main reason to go to a restaurant. The chair was a little bit low for the table, but that would be the only comment on comfort. There are two seating areas, either out the front, if you want to be seen, or inside if you prefer a quieter setting, which we chose and it was perfect. Servers were very knowledgeable and the Thali's were some of the best we have had. We frequent this area, so will definitely be back.

Excellent Indian food inside Harvey Nicols, very glittering department store just in front of extra luxury Mandarin Oriental Hotel. It's located on 5th (top) floor. furniture is nice and contemporary but the restaurant could be more intimate if better divided from the retail area. It appears very cheap but as we ordered more than one plate at the end was quite expensive. Overall good and suggested.
