Her 'Rubin's' pastrami sandwich was hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had! The staff was very friendly, too. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Islington.

I came in for a Reuben sandwich, and the service was excellent, especially considering that the young lady was working solo on a Saturday. I hope her paycheck reflects her hard work! The food was wonderful – I would argue that this is the best Reuben in North London, with Monty's in Hoxton coming in a close second!

Visit this place for a fantastic meal, and you'll be pleased to find no plastic cups. I give it a million stars!

I never know what to order because I want to order everything. so many delicious options. also many veggie options. they only use recyclable and compostable materials for packaging.

I absolutely love this place. Eating their Reuben Sandwich simply fills me with joy. The ratio of meat, condiment and pickles is just perfect. Most places in the UK serves this with not enough meat. Not Mercer. This is a deep filled and is a real handful to hold and to take a bite out of. Good Salt Beef, good rye bread. Just great. It really reminds me of a good Reuben that you might get in New York. The service is very friendly but can be a bit casual which I think some might find unsavoury. They're lovely people though. And I really enjoy going there.
