Necco Japanese Bar - London

Necco cafe's a great little gem and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. They were very attentive as well and my friend and I were able to stay comfortably chatting without feeling like we had to leave as soon as we finished our food.

This cat themed bar and lunch restaurant is lovely. Portions may be a bit small for some, but everything is delicious. We brought our little son with us and they were super accommodating, making space for his pram etc. Also, they have the most adorable dessert menu, with little hand-drawn pictures of what's on offer for the day pinned to tiny little cork boards. This is the upside of the portions not being massive; you always have space for dessert here! :

I have been looking for an authentic Japanese eatery in London since I moved here and this restaurant is exactly what I have been looking for. Agedashi dofu was very flavorful, and the gyudon was the way it should be served in Japan. My dessert was a greentea cake and that was done the way it should be: good flavours of green tea and just the right amount of sweetness. Price was excellent. I will be back with more mouths so I can try the reat of the menu.

Very friendly and traditional family run. Tasty food and authentic. Food didn’t arrive all at the same time but it didn’t really matter. Would definitely go back!
