This is a fantastic neighborhood eatery with excellent value for money and generous portion sizes.

Popped in for a quick curry with the wife. The food was excellent as usual as was the attentive service.

Nouvelle Spice is a wonderful Indian restaurant located in New Cross. Their friendly service, large portions, and affordable prices make it a great dining spot. The food is delicious, with the chicken korma being sweet and creamy without being too rich, and the lamb dansak perfectly tangy. The peshwari naan is especially excellent, with a thick, doughy texture and a delicious golden filling topped with toasted sesame seeds. The prawn palak and bhindi bhaji dishes were also tasty, although the pilau rice was nothing special.

Excellent as always. A great local restaurant. We went with some friends from brick lane and said it was much better than their local places.
