Or perhaps it was the delicious and healthier open sandwich with eggplant and arugula (that's eggplant and rocket for my fellow Americans)? I was also captivated by the beautiful stoneware; I wish I could have it in my own home. I can’t believe this place isn't completely overwhelmed with customers all the time—it’s just another reason to love it! I'm so grateful that the accommodation I booked for my 10-day stay in London is far away from this gem. My only regret is knowing I won't be able to visit this spot when I return to the States. Feel free to open another location over there!
The restaurant experience was phenomenal, with excellent service and pure flavors. The honest presentation of the dishes showcased the chef's artistic flair. The ambiance was majestic, and the food was absolutely scrumptious!
The baked goods and coffee are absolutely delightful! I will definitely be returning.
Probably one of the best bakeries I had. the croissant is as good as anyone I had in France. they were the perfect combination of tasty and buttery. the ham and the cheese were great. the star is definitiw the maple bacon croissant that has really thick strips of streaky speck inside, but only the correct amount of maple syrup. they also made great cortados! I would definitely come back.
Always always ALWAYS amazing and worth the trek now I live the other side of London. Their weekend and seasonal specials like this hot cross bun are something to travel for. And their signature maple and bacon is like no other. Perfect coffee to go with any pastry.
