The place was fairly empty, but the staff was friendly and inviting, and I was seated at a hightop near the bar. I asked for a 'bitter ', which confused the bartender but when asked for a recommendation, he referred me to a local craft brewed ale, which was quite good. The menu is based around BBQ (Tennessee style) and the decor is sort of wild west saloon type. I ordered the BBQ chopped pork sandwich with fries (as an extra). The fries were perfectly cooked, and had some sort of powder on them, maybe a light curry? The sandwich was OK and there was a lot of chopped pork on it as well as some sort of cabbage or slaw. There wasn 't any sort of smoked taste or sauce that I can really taste, but overall it was a nice sandwich, even if it didn 't really taste like BBQ to me. Overall, nice place with nice service.
Food was fantastic and service was even better. The restaurant serves meat that is smoked and burgers that are ground in house and it shows in the quality of the food on offer. Would highly recommend to all meat lovers, lots of great sides to choose from too and some delicious cocktails. We were served by Keeley who was an absolute gem and a credit to the restaurant so thank you. We look forward to returning when we’re back in the area.
Great atmosphere, great service, fantastic food. We saw a Facebook or Instagram post recommending this place as one of the top 5 burger places in London. Had a trip planned to London for a gig so thought we would go hear for lunch … defo didn’t disappoint. Really good atmosphere, service was great, super friendly and the food was awesome! Couldn’t complain about any of it, had the biggest rib I have ever seen in my life, real life dino rib I’m sure Definatley be going back one day
We went to the Soho Branch for my Birthday on 20/12/23 and ordered a kentucky platter which came with two burgers. The Platter was Good however the Burgers were minced lamb. These were supposed to be beef as on the Menu but they were 10000% Lamb.Lamb has a very distinctive taste to Beef.I have eaten burgers at Honest Burger and Five Guys etc and none tasted like these. I contacted the Soho Branch and the Member of staff said I was mistaken and they were Beef! I should have sent them back when we got them but when we ordered we didn't realise the platter came with burgers and hurriedly ordered two from the menu whilst the waitress hovered over us.It was only when I got home and checked their online menu that I discovered that the Burger I had also didn't have any BBq sauce or mayonnaise. Our first time visiting and I was really looking forward to it but I cannot recommend this place.
Expensive for what it is, the chicken wasn't even spicy. Service was good though
