The restaurant did not honor the 30% discount that was advertised for booking a table online. The service was average, but when a drink was spilled, none of the staff offered assistance or provided extra cloths.
This was my first time dining on Brick Lane and I must say, the atmosphere was amazing with lots of activity on the street. The restaurant itself was bustling with people coming and going. Despite the busyness, the service was friendly and efficient. The menu had a great selection of dishes and the food was all delicious and full of flavor. If you book online, you can bring your own drink and there's also an off-licence nearby. The portions were generous and overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend, unless you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner for two.
Almost every restaurant on Brick Lane claims to be the best. I haven’t eaten in all of them, so can’t possibly judge all their claims. There may be other restaurants there as good as Sheba, or better, but I’ve not found them yet, so I will keep on returning there.
Food was just ok. Service was ok. But the rest was pretty disappointing. Booked the table over a week ago for a large party. Confirmed it twice. Arrived and table was not ready. They were still obviously sorting themselves our for the lunch service. Dirty laundry lying all over the staircase where one is supposed to go to for the toilets. Disappointing
