Tandoor Chop House At Covent Garden

I loved this place. great eating, excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. we will definitely come back!

The eating was even better than expected and the service was incredible at the booking notice that it was my partner birthday and they brought a pudding with a candle that was a nice note. have already recommended friends!

We had booked early and sat in a very uncomfortable seating place for two. half-stand and half-chair table, where the chair was in the grunde on a walkway for server and paragliding. literal 1 minute later, a group of two was placed next to us on a comfortable table for 4. that was not right with us, but that was good. the music was popped up and lights were dimmed, which do not correspond to the style of the restaurant, they could hardly see their eating. I think they have to decide what place they want to be. they do not have a “lounge” vibe. eating was okay, not bad, not amazing. we asked the server if the schish kebab starter was spicy, she said “No”. first bite, definitiw in a few cool pieces, burn the tone. crowning chicken caesar salat had two leaves salate, I wouldn’t call it salat. tandoori huhn and naan were great, but the ribeye needed to season and a chance to recover from the plate; let's just say it was so dark I didn't know if the juices were a soak or the blood from the steak? being Indian myself, I would say that this is an Indian place, the tourist catering.

Great food and service, but earlier here, knew that! that said, my friends with me had not and fully agreed and commented on how good it was.

Beautifully cooked fresh food with lots of taste! All round perfect!
