Starters of cauliflower winglets and mackerel pate were a great start to our experience. Beautifully cooked and tasted lovely. Sunday roast of pork, chicken and a third of beef completed the Sunday lunch. A great place to visit for a memorable lunch.
Mediocre at best. Unfriendly staff, waited half an hour to order food because nobody came. Went up to the bar several times to order food instead and were told that someone would come and take our order. Food took ages to come out and was average at best. Homemade bread was as dry as anything. Wouldn't come again. For the rubbish service they charge 12.5% which is honestly a joke given the lack of service you actually receive.
This venue was chosen by our local-resident son for its good food reputation. We had a great meal (recommend the chicken schnitzel) amid lots of conversation. We would love to return next time we are in London.
The service was quite slow but the food was good. I had the full English which was pleasant, the hash browns were lovely. The Sourdough was a bit firm but a nice brunch
I had a last-minute meal here a couple of weeks ago. The service was tremendous and efficient. The burger was excellent. I also stayed for a drink afterwards.
