Despite being in a bustling area, the restaurant itself is a peaceful and quiet spot on the first floor near the Eurostar trains. I highly recommend it.
The bar is currently closed with no set reopening date, and the surrounding area is under construction. We were informed by a staff member that it has been closed for some time. This was inconvenient as we had to search for another place to go for two hours before our next reservation, despite receiving pre-arrival emails requesting confirmation of our attendance.
We arrived at the restaurant only to find out that it was closed, as we had made a booking with Me Mi during lockdown. Our reservation was moved to The Booking Office next door, but we received a confirmation from them. When we tried calling the restaurant, we were directed to the hotel where we were told that they would not be opening until next week. Ultimately, our long-awaited evening of catching up was ruined due to OpenTable's mistake.
Absolutely shocking such a shame on my daughter’s birthday. Half the things on the menu weren’t available; we had to wait over 35 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t even quarter full; and the food that came was stale (kettle chips from a packet! , disgusting (pizzetta and blue cheese sauce or very disappointing (ice creams . The only nice thing was the burger. Even with the things that were awful taken off, the bill was still £120 for four and they had the cheek to add a service charge, even though the service was dreadful. Don’t waste your time or money going here.
Open Table allowed me to book for this venue even though it was closed at the time of arrival.
