The French Café - London

French Cafe. I like this cafe very much although friends have complained of poor service I find it consistently good. I love the chicken baguette with tomatoes and pesto which comes with a nicely dressed salad and fries. They are baby friendly and there is always lots of room when I go, usually a weekday lunchtime. The coffee is pretty good too.

Does what it says on the tin. Good sturdy food, everything comes with thin chips and very nice wine by the glass.

I was unsure about visiting this restaurant after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and especially the pizzas. Definitely worth a visit.

I updated my review 5 months ago and gave this restaurant 3 stars. The pizza has been consistently excellent for some time and is always fast. It's a great spot to relax and have a drink. The coffee is good too. I haven't had breakfast here in a while, but it seems they have made improvements based on feedback. The service has greatly improved, especially during my last few visits. Overall, I've had great experiences here recently!

We took a chance on this restaurant for a last-minute lunch and it paid off - we received great service and enjoyed perfectly light pizzas with a fluffy crust as part of a food deal. The south-facing outside area was a wonderful spot to dine on a sunny day. The beer selection was good as well. We later discovered that the restaurant was connected to cycling when we learned that they "cut" big pizzas. We will definitely be returning!
