Stopped off for a bite to eat while in the area, and what an amazing lunch it was. We sat outside where it was quiet, comfy and welcoming. The staff were also very welcoming and attentive to all customers (I’m a people watcher). We ordered the rib eye steak which come with thick cut chips , a large portobello mushroom and side salad. The steaks come out on a separate hot lava rock sizzling away so you can choose how you want it cooked. I have to say I’m a steak lover and have enjoyed them all over the world and this little Jem of a place serves everything up to perfection, no corners cut on food quality either. Can’t wait to come back again, kudos to the manager, chef waiter staff for their amazing efforts
Nice and friendly restaurant, if you love meat, you must try the steak! 100% will come back with more people.
I have visited this pub a few times whilst visiting friends in the neighbourhood. I walked past the other day and had to nip into the bar to ask the bartender if I could use the toilet. Fair enough I had to buy something although was happy to make a charitable donation. What really got my goat and I felt had totally went against good customer service is that the lady insisted I make payment before going up to use the toilet (which didn’t help as I was desperate to go and am diabetic). If that is how the bartender treats people then I definitely will not go in there again. Ok I may have just needed to use the toilet but for all they know I may had plenty of cash to spend in their pub at a later date. Not impressed!!!!!
Spacious pub with good food offering and charming service from our lovely waitress Radis. I had the pork which was especially nice.
