The staff were amazing and on hand. Refills were offered but we were both struggling by the time the scones came! Everything was brilliant, from the service to the food as well as the ambiance. Also the pianist was phenomenal!
The setting is stunning, and the food is outstanding. This is one of the best vegan afternoon teas in London. The sandwiches were freshly prepared, and the desserts were incredible for vegan options, while the scones were definitely a highlight. The service was impeccable; our waiter was attentive, provided us with soy and oat milk for our teas, and engaged in delightful conversation. The live pianist was the cherry on top, offering a fantastic selection of music. I highly recommend this experience as a special treat to share with someone.
Absolutely amazing! We initially reserved just a cream tea but decided to upgrade to afternoon tea since we had a five-hour drive home afterward. My dietary preferences are quite particular, resembling those of a picky toddler, but the staff was accommodating, adjusting my sandwich selection with ease. I recommend mentioning any dietary needs ahead of time when making your reservation, as I can't guarantee the same flexibility every visit. The atmosphere, decor, staff's demeanor and attentiveness, cleanliness, the pianist, food, and tea were all flawless.
This is one of the best afternoon teas I've experienced as a vegan. They offer a complete vegan menu! My relatives even preferred the vegan scones over the regular ones. It was a delightful experience, and you can keep requesting refills for food and hot drinks. The service by Marco was outstanding as well. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. We had a bit of trouble locating the tea room, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. Overall, it's definitely worth the price for a lovely treat!
Ambience: perfect/exceptional The most comfortable seating with tables arranged the farthest apart from one another, compared to all higher end afternoon tea in London we had had. The very good pianist also took the experience to the next level. service: very good The team really took it seriously what guests were allergic to or simply disliked. One of them was patient enough to point out the Cucumber Minted Goats Curd sandwich was not for goat cheese haters in his opinion and offered to bring us some vegan options instead. sandwich: good We had had a lot better and expected better. scones: perfect/exceptional Warmed just right. One of, if not the softest scones we had had. Raspberry jam and strawberry jam were good. patisseries: surprisingly disappointing We were always fans of those sold in Harrods Food Hall and nothing ever failed, so not sure what went wrong with this festive menu. tea: good Not bad, but expected better, with a larger variety of herbal tea.
