There is a small patio by the entrance that was full and a good size interior that included booth seating, tables and chairs and bar seating. So plenty of options. A small parking area is out front the . The entrance is on the side of the building. One gentleman was taking care of all the guests and doing a good job. This is pub food and craft beers. Plenty of the people on the patio were there for a beer or two on a nice 'out door ' day. Our party ordered iced tea which was good and beer along with hand held foods. The menu offers a variety of updated takes on old school bar standbys. Classic burger or perhaps a Hawaiian. French dip sandwich or maybe a turkey havarti melt. Salad with chicken. Mac cheese, steak, salmon. Basic bar fare. The bread on our sandwiches was soft. The food quality good. Plenty of meat on the bread. A variety of side options to accompany your sandwich. The décor is minimal and the restaurant clean, including the restrooms which are to the right of the bar. They offer happy hour specials Monday through Friday. I would stop by again if in the area and looking for an 'American cuisine ' meal.
Food Service Ambience Olga was the best server I have ever had. It's like she reads minds.
Wow! Why have I never ordered the pizza here before? It is amazing! The beer crust is perfectly cooked with delicious bountiful cheese and toppings. It is perfectly cooked to a crisp on the edges. You can tell everything is made fresh. I will definitely be coming here more often! Plus our server was great and kept checking on us. I'm compelled to leave a generous tip because of how sincerely attentive and genuinely nice she was.
The Ram Restaurant and Brewhouse is a solid choice but not necessarily a destination restaurant. Located at Kent Station near the movie theater the Ram is a very large, unremarkable looking restaurant serving American fare from burgers to pizza. While they don't shine at any particular dish everything is tasty. I enjoy their rotating specials that they have each month and the price point can't be beat. Seriously giant portions for lower prices than I see at the vast majority of sit down restaurants. The food comes out quickly. The cocktails are honestly forgettable and I don't recommend them. There hasn't been a single cocktail from their margaritas to their cosmopolitans that I can recommend. They come in the largest glasses and typically taste like they came from a premix found at a convenience store. The service varies like the weather. I have had servers who wouldn't look me in the eye, servers who seemed irritated at my existence, and servers who were lovely and approachable. It just isn't consistent. For solid, inexpensive food come to the Ram. Don't have high expectations and you won't be disappointed.
Lunchtime midweek is quiet. The food was good, but not great. With that in mind, cost for meals are a little high. Lots of choices on the menu. If you're hungry, in a pinch for time and want to sit down, this is the place to go. Otherwise, drive to another place.
