One of the oldest pubs in london, right behind the royal courts of justice. you eat is absolutely amazing, excellent even. they can close the eyes and go wrong on the board-cant. the food is constantly changing. dog-friendly and 7 days open the week. one of my favorite places in the city
Delightly quirky pub behind the royal courts of justice set. enticing and interesting images decorate the walls along with lawyers wig in the window. gastgeber was very welcoming. Gastro food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Drinks served well. it's worth a visit.
A real Jewel and one I will come back. strengthen: old 1602 building (one of the oldest pubs londons, not a gin palace), friendly staff who know their customers and talk to us tourist, delightful quiet environment, very well maintained beer and wide, unusual menu in the pub not pretentious prices. weaken: no vegan meal and at a quiet day they can be the cooked to microns. interesting website also. go.
Step back in time in this charming, friendly pub. The atmosphere, service and even quality of light seem to speak of past times. Asking for the wifi code felt anachronistic! I didn't have anything more than a lemonade, but the food looked good and I'm told the beers are very fine.
