The Tavern Pub - London

We had a table booked for 1pm and we arrived a couple of minutes before. The lights were on but the doors were locked. We went through the hotel entrance and reached an interior door where we could see a man at the bar. I knocked on the door but he ignored me. So I knocked again and said we had a table booked. He replied that he wasn't ready yet. It was around 1:05pm by this point (the pub was advertised as being open from 12 noon). So, he left us standing outside didn't even let us in to sit down. We then decided to go somewhere else and left. As we were leaving the garden area, the man opened the doors (now about 1:10pm) and looked to us to allow us in. I spoke to him to say that I have never experienced such poor service, that we had a table booked and he had ignored me, and that we had 2 children with us. He said he didn't know anything about a booking. This is irrelevant he should have opened the doors to us when I said we had a table booked. Saying he wasn't ready was extremely rude and pathetic.
