I’d definitely recommend the Warwick for food as well as drinks, but if you’re in a rush order at the bar!
On arrival there was no record of our booking. After showing the email at the bar we were then sat downstairs in a dark room with a strange smell and kind of left to it. The food was pleasant, but we felt out of the way and not really part of the scene. Also, there was a lengthy mistake with the bill, as we ended up having to queue for drinks at the bar but they were then added onto the bill even though we had paid cash for those. Overall, I was pretty disappointed. I appreciate Saturday teatimes are busy, but don't take bookings if you can't fulfil them and make people feel welcome.
Food was over cooked and less than standard for pub grub. Never eat here again!
The Warwick was promoting its Sunday roasts online, it turned out they had decided to launch this new portion of the menu on Easter Sunday when we dined. The kitchen struggled with 3 orders all the potatoes and root veg were under cooked, the mushroom was still part frozen, we had to send a dish back and there were no sauces available to enjoy with the meats. The flyer said there would be live music, there was not all in all a very disappointing for a highly promoted event. The serving staff were helpful, but it couldn't make up for the problems here.
Terrible table service and rudeness from waitress. Not worth the prices they charge.
