Having recently returned from a trip to mexiko, I was curious to see how our local Latin American restaurant, where most food choices are mexican influenced, was refined with the originals I had eaten just a short time ago. the place has a beautiful atmosphere, great music selection, beautiful for one night for only them and their important others. the service is very friendly and with a smile that always makes the experience more pleasant. because we had no time, we had only 2 dishes and a side salad to share. the chicken Molquesadilla was a...more
Fantastic place! cozy, warm, just like in South America! eating is so damn tasty, I am addicted to the Brazilian prawns and their pulled pork tacos, I no longer go to another Mexican restaurant, I am happy to live near viva. my friends love and the waitress is like a friend and not just a waitress, it is very busy at weeks, but the music is great and there is no where like this bar in the opposite.
Not got. I was so excited to try this place, but oh wow the service was so bad I never experienced anything like it. no beverage order for 20 minutes, tried to attract attention, but the servers were more interested in chatting. I ordered the bar and they got the order wrong, but I was responsible, but it went to the next table, so what was the fuss? I could hear that they were talking about us on Spanish, which was very unpleasant and rude. Finally, a waitress came by and asked if we would order more food, what I told her we were waiting for a friend before she was going to take our menus, and I told her again, we would order her to say that she takes them. read more
I liked this place, it had good moods, a smoky but intimate atmosphere, and I liked to eat it. if we had plans other than getting drunk, the service would have been very frustrating. go with all means (and I have to return for more guacamole, and I would like to try their taquitos) but be ready to wait.
Over-rated. The food was tasteless. Quacamole lacked flavour. Mushroom with spinach was equally uninspiring. Moqueca had heaps of turmeric in it and nothing else.
