West Thirty Six - London

On the first warm, sunny weekend of the season, we celebrated a friend's birthday at this restaurant. We had a table on the covered terrace upstairs. Unfortunately, it overlooks the railway, but there was plenty of sunlight in the afternoon. The food was delicious, especially the vegetable dishes, steaks, and bone marrow engravings. The staff was attentive and pleasant. Surprisingly, the restaurant was quite quiet for a Saturday, possibly due to recent negative reviews.

West Thirty Six offers much more than what initially meets the eye. The main bar area on the ground floor may appear dull and poorly designed at first glance.

Our friend recommended this place to us, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a stylish and trendy atmosphere that we enjoyed both inside and out.

Very disappointing service.
