Contribuisci feedbackOn the second night, I tried the hibachi, which was $60. It was underwhelming; the shrimp and lobster were overcooked, although the scallops were good. The sauces were lacking, while the rice, veggies, and salad were all just average. The miso soup, unfortunately, wasn’t enjoyable. I really wanted to like this place, but it was just okay, and considering the price, it didn't feel like a good value. The hibachi show was entertaining and would be great for families or friends to enjoy together. However, for me, the quality of the food is the most important factor. I appreciate your response. Are there plans to improve? What can you do to enhance my experience while I’m here?
It seemed like the staff overheard our conversation with the friendly, unrelated server, because she suddenly vanished, and the owner brought out our food after his wife or sister made a remark about us talking about how they take tips from the non-related servers. So, for anyone dining there, be aware that any tip left on a credit card goes straight to the owners, not your server! This feels like blatant embezzlement! How could they take advantage of people like this? Additionally, the so-called New York Strip is actually sirloin, which explains why it comes pre-cut! Before you shell out $22.99 for sirloin, consider going to Texas Roadhouse or Old Town Grill, where they serve real steaks that come as a whole piece and where servers can keep their own tips. I truly feel sorry for that poor girl working there, and I even suggested she look for another job!
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The vegetables were lacking—just a single small piece of broccoli and some yellow squash. The rice portion was overflowing. I ordered the Filet Mignon and Salmon but ended up receiving scallops instead. This was the first time I've had difficulty enjoying a top-quality steak. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money here.
Standard hibachi food, VERY over priced for the quality and portions $20 is about the cheapest thing on the menu). My brother-in-law was charged $12 for two TINY lamb chops, that ended up not being fully cooked. My shrimp was overcooked as well. The chef that night was very unenthusiastic and you could see it, no energy, very little of the flair you expect at a hibachi grill. I was splashed with sauce a few times during cooking, and it got splattered all over the table too. Overall an underwhelming dinner that was just meh.
My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and we were seated with others which was expected at a hibachi. The waitress was extremely rude and difficult to understand. Let me preface my next statement by saying I have NO ISSUES trying to communicate with others where English is a second language, but no one at the table could hardly understand her. We we're trying to reach common understanding but her response was to keep repeating herself louder and louder. If she had slowed down it probably would have been easier to communicate. We ordered steak medium and it was way overcooked so it was tough. We also ordered shrimp that was overcooked and tough. The rice was cooked first and they only used 3 eggs for 7 portions and the rice portions were small when served. By the time the veggies and meat were added to the rice, the rice was cold. There was no seasoning on the food so it was very bland. Not a great experience and certainly not worth the money we paid. We will not be back.
