Young's Special was quite enjoyable, and the shared ox cheek loaded chips were absolutely delicious. The beer could have been served at a better temperature, but it was a very quiet day. My dog adores this place—he gets to enjoy dog treats that he loves and has the whole area to himself. He just needed to find the perfect spot to relax. The venue is spacious, featuring a large garden, a cellar bar, and an upstairs hotel, which are all worth exploring. Enjoy your visit!

Wonderful pub! I stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The beer garden is lovely, the small plates are excellent, and they have a great selection of whiskey. The staff was attentive and even called us when we checked in very late. On the second day, they made us a Bloody Mary at a leisurely pace since it wasn't quite late enough to officially serve alcohol. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic pub for meeting friends! The atmosphere is excellent. I've previously used it for casting a short film, and the management reserved a space in the back garden for us at no charge, which was really generous. We had around 48 actors and actresses, so we only needed to cover the cost of drinks. I highly recommend this place!

Had a great stay here recently. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and with various snacks provided, tea and coffee. Beds were comfortable. A bit out of the way if you’re wanting to travel around the city centre, but it’s easy to get the bus to the tube. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed for 3 nights for a trip to Wimbledon. Excellent location for that. Bus stop right outside straight to AELTC and only 40 minute walk if buses too busy. Great staff from check in/ out, to breakfast and bar team. Relaxed atmosphere without any drop in service quality. Dinners and breakfast delicious. Room comfortable and clean also surprising quiet given on a busy road. Great stay. Thanks.
