I went to this restaurant last night and it was a terrible experience. The dumplings did not have any pork or meat in them. The food was bland and the oil used was not good. I regret spending so much money on food that tasted like garbage. Ironically, I bought dog food for my dogs yesterday and I wish I had eaten that instead as it probably would have tasted better. I will not be going back to this restaurant.
Let me say foreword that we ordered online from this restaurant in December 2016 and it was great. This was the only reason I ordered from there again, although I noticed that their rating and logo was different, then it was the first time I ordered over JustEat. I should have known that something is out. Spidey voices were cheating, but I was hungry and I ordered anyway. Online ordering was fine, no real problem, except being able to pay with Debit at the door (a problem with JustEat.ca and not the restaurant that I am sure. Eating came a little over half an hour later, everything seemed good. Open the bag and our laces had everything in themselves. Fried rice rusted and was basically white rice with a bit of soy sauce (not even enough to cover the whole rice as there were white lumps, and only contain an extra soy package to solve the problem. Sweet and acidic pork was soggy and cold and came without sauce. The restaurant called, was said that the sauce comes on the pork (which would have made it even more soggy, but maybe would convey some taste, not mentioning to cover the burnt smell on the rice, but although the lady insisted on the phone, there was no sauce to find. Promise to send me some sauce when the driver comes back (there is no fear that the food will get cold as it is already.... General Tao Chicken was half edible, but had not the heat we expected and most pieces were as hard as a rock. All in all was terrible, and we both agreed to throw it out. We're Dutch and Scottish. We earned $50 food. That. At least there were lucky cookies. I enjoyed mine that was deformed (of course and was actually a cookie in a cookie. My better half opened his biscuits ready to wake up with at least one great sweet treat, but was left the feeling when he had no fortune in his cookie. Last straw, you pissed my husband on a dessert. Don't let yourself be fooled by the old reviews that were great. This place has changed its owners and/or suppliers and it is AWFUL.
Ordered from here and food were fantastic, very patient service and fast delivery, recommend this place.
During a recent business trip to London, Ontario, Canada, I discovered the New Dragon Boat Chinese food restaurant through JustEat.ca. Their menu offers a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and I was impressed with the quick delivery service to my hotel. The portions of the dishes I ordered were generous and tasty, with the exception of the hollow egg rolls. Despite the disappointment with the egg rolls, the overall experience was positive, and I would have given a 5-star rating if it wasn't for that minor issue. I appreciated the extra plum sauce and napkins that were included with my order.
