Came again to try their boards! This time, instead of ordering the Everything Platter, I opted for a separate Cheese and Charcuterie board
My birthday was last week, and a friend of mine was looking to take me out to celebrate.
Four of us enjoyed dinner at Glassroots tonight; with the 'try everything' appetizer providing refined flavours, sophistication and artful plating. My 'lasagna' was the only meal lacking protein, and was therefore a layered vegetable bake. For $20, a little cashew cheese could have been included. Flavour excellent. Content weak. I'm still hungry. Further on pricing, the $8 donut is just a donut. Not luxurious or magnificent, just expensive. Overall a good experience; recommend careful perusal of menu, which changes weekly.
Ate here last night, my boyfriend and I both got the three course chefs choice. Neither of us are vegan and I couldn't tell you what we ate - but we loved it all! Good local beer pairings via suggestions from our server. Got a slice of cheesecake to bring home & it was everything I could have ever hoped for. *make reservations* can't wait to go back!
