The staff at the Masonville location were extremely rude. They were unhelpful and disrespectful to my elderly father and I, who were simply trying to enjoy a meal despite health issues. My father was mistreated for asking for water and trying to eat something to prevent dizziness. While the food was acceptable, the service was very poor.
I was searching for a bakery in London that was open on Monday. I was excited to find one nearby with good reviews on Yelp. I called to order donuts in advance for pick-up in a few hours. After making my payment, I discovered a 15% off offer for first-time orders on Yelp. When I inquired about the offer, the staff claimed they were unaware of it. The manager refused to honor the voucher, despite me providing screenshots and emails. I did not receive a response or credit. I understand if they were not active on Yelp, but as a business owner, they should update their pages and address customer reviews. I did not expect a freebie and am willing to pay for my food. I doubt I am the only one who encountered this issue. Despite the delicious treats (mousse cake and donuts), the poor customer service experience has deterred me from returning.
Some of the best cake I ever tried in london. full of taste and not overwhelming sweet. I will definitely visit again to try their waffles in this Thursday.
Used to really love going here until recently. I would always pick up macarons, a drink and a bag of their whole beans until my last visit. While waiting for my coffee, a group of 4 walk in for dine in. None of these people are wearing a mask. I looked at the staff member, fully expecting them to say something or ask them to put on their masks at the very least. Nothing. Its the bare minimum to follow the law and ask them why they aren't wearing masks. I won't be back again. I can find a better, more local coffee shop that respects that everyone should feel safe.
