Contribuisci feedbackFor a restaurant that calls itself 'Korean Express,' I would expect it to be dedicated to Korean food and to excel at this cuisine.I was a bit confused to find the menu to include not only Japanese cuisine, but also Indian and Japanese. There is a wide selection of sushi and rolls with vegetarian options, Japanese options of noodles, sushi and teriyaki, Indian options including pakoras and samosas, as well as Korean options of noodles, pancakes, Bulgogi, stews and HotPot.In terms of the overall 'authenticity' and quality of the food, the Indian food was definitely not up to par, the Japanese cuisine of rolls and sushi was 'average' at best, and the Korean cuisine was also 'average.' I would equate this to the 'North American' version of ethnic cuisine, rather than authentic cuisine. Admittedly, I am neither Japanese, nor Korean (but I am Indian) and have experienced the true Japanese and Korean traditions and food culture; however, I think this establishment has geared itself towards providing a glimpse of its ethnic roots catered to the population.Overall, it was a pleasant meal, but not 'authentic.'

Finally found my go-to place for Korean food in London! I had a pork bone soup and my friend had a tofu soup.
I had the bibimbap and the pork bone soup. This place just opened a few weeks ago and so they are still running some promotions. The restaurant serves Korean and Japanese food mainly but also has some Indian type foods like samosas and Indian desserts. The owner told me he isn't Korean but grew up there and spent time in japan as well. The food was not the typical/traditional Korean food, but it was still good.Took a little time to receive our food but you can tell the owner made it fresh and for that, it was worth the wait. There wasn't any side dishes/banchan but he did give us a lot of free samosas and dessert which was delicious. Overall good experience, great service, and best pork bone soup I've had in London.
