Kubby's Draft Bar & Grill - London

I took my wife and my big daughter for lunch, and maybe I should have noticed that there was only one table occupied that we might be in the wrong place. The server was polite and fast and took our orders in a timely way....because the kitchen was the hold. How long can a grilled cheese sandwich, an egg salad sandwich with broccoli and cheese soup and a meat jam sandwich take.... good at Kubby's a LONG time. When they finally came the portion size and the presentation, they were reasonable... with the exception of the fries that came with the grilled cheese...... my granddaughter finished her meal when the fries finally arrived. Oh... the soup was overly watered and not particularly delicious... but edible. I can't imagine coming back for a second trip.

Decent food, good weekend hangout place with friends, staff is polite, not exactly cheap. They, however, take time to deliver your order.

I had no idea what to expect here. The restaurant is half bar, half tabled restaurant. It's not big, but it's plenty of space. The bar was well visited and looked like the Cheers of London with those who were hanging out with local friends. It was a very calm casual atmosphere. The restaurant has several booths. What was interesting was that some of the booths were huge and could easily seat 6 adults comfortably and 8 easily. The waitress was extremely friendly. The food was exceptional. Apparently the hamburgs are hand made with real hamburger so that's what I ordered. It was fantastic. The prices are the best! The food was more than enough. And it all tasted excellent. I would definitely land there again if in the area.

I went there with a few friends, expecting a decent sports bar. It was hands down the worst food and service we ever had. I don 't know if the cooks were experiencing a bad day, but the food was overcooked and dried out. The lettuce in the salad was dirty, and their garden salad consisted of dirty lettuce with small pieces of carrots. They forgot to even give us dressing. Our server was flirting with some drunk patron the entire time, and took about an hour to bring our food out. When we complained about the fries, which seemed like they had been sitting in the fryer for 3 days, the server just told us to eat up . My friend requested a medium rare steak, and the server brought out what looked like a piece of coal.

Lived down the street and thought it was factual... man, I was wrong. Large menu with fresh food....no Sisco Truck! Friendly staff. Beer menu could be a little more diverse, but it will be better with its new craft beer on hand! Thursday wing special is great! I'm glad to say I'm regular now!
